These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by BeSpoke Luxury Travels LLP, trading as Cardinal Journeys ("Cardinal Journeys", "we", "us", "our"), and your use of this website and our travel planning, curation, booking and advisory services (the "Services"). By enquiring, making a booking or making a payment to us, you ("the Client", "you") accept these Terms.
1. About us
Cardinal Journeys is a brand of BeSpoke Luxury Travels LLP, a limited liability partnership incorporated in India, having its Registered Office at 404 North View, Opp. L. D. Engineering College, University Road, Ahmedabad – 380009, Gujarat, India. You can reach us at hello@cardinaljourneys.com.
2. Our role
We act as a travel designer and booking facilitator. Many elements of your journey — including flights, hotels, transfers, cruises, guides, activities and experiences — are provided by independent third-party suppliers ("Suppliers"). Where we arrange such services, we do so as your agent, and your contract for those services is also subject to the Suppliers' own terms and conditions, which we will make available to you where reasonably possible.
3. Enquiries, proposals and quotations
- Proposals and quotations are indicative and based on availability and pricing at the time of issue.
- Prices are not guaranteed until fully confirmed and paid for, as Supplier rates, taxes, fees and currency exchange rates may change.
- A booking is confirmed only once we issue a written confirmation and the applicable payment has been received.
4. Fees and payments
- Our Services may include a planning, design or service fee, which will be disclosed to you before you commit.
- Payments may be collected in instalments — typically a booking deposit followed by balance payment(s) by stated due dates. Specific amounts and due dates will be set out in your proposal or invoice.
- Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card details.
- Failure to pay by a due date may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of amounts paid, in line with our Refund & Cancellation Policy and Supplier terms.
5. Points, miles & rewards advisory
Where we provide guidance on credit-card rewards, airline miles or loyalty programmes, such guidance is advisory in nature and based on information and programme rules available to us at the time. We are not a bank, card issuer, airline or loyalty programme, and we do not control their terms, availability or decisions. You are responsible for your own accounts and for complying with the terms of those programmes. We do not guarantee any particular reward, redemption, upgrade or saving.
6. Travel documents, health & eligibility
- You are responsible for holding valid passports, visas, permits and any required health documentation.
- We can advise on general requirements, but visa and immigration decisions rest solely with the relevant authorities.
- You must inform us of any medical conditions, accessibility needs or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
7. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, repatriation and personal belongings, appropriate to your journey. It is your responsibility to ensure your cover is adequate.
8. Changes and cancellations
Requests to change or cancel a confirmed booking are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and by the applicable Supplier terms. We will always try to minimise charges, but many Supplier fees are outside our control.
9. Liability
- We accept responsibility for arranging the Services with reasonable skill and care.
- We are not liable for the acts, omissions, default or insolvency of independent Suppliers, or for events beyond our reasonable control (see Force Majeure).
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Services shall not exceed the fees paid to us (excluding amounts paid to and payable to Suppliers).
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics or pandemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, government action, border closures, or transport disruption.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including itineraries, text, design and branding — is the property of BeSpoke Luxury Travels LLP and may not be reproduced without our written consent.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the arbitration provision below, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat shall have jurisdiction. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably, failing which it shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator at Ahmedabad, in English, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
